SAQ & Skills Director - Simon Annis

Video_BkgdMutiny FC Skills & SAQ Training is offered for both Field Players and Goalkeepers during the Fall and Spring Seasons. Before each Fall & Spring season, please check here and on Facebook for the most current detail regarding that season's skills sessions.

Skills is FREE for Mutiny players and $50.00 for SAQ.

  • Non-mutiny players $75.00 for Skills and $75.00 SAQ.

The SAQ portion (Speed, Agility, Quickness) is a soccer-specific workout designed to increase a player's ability to be effective on the competitive field of play. All activities are soccer-specific with regards the distances and physical components being addressed; whilst many activities incorporate a soccer ball.

Skills will be exclusively technical with hundreds of touches on the ball within each session. The players will be challenged to improve in multiple facets of the game such as receiving, dribbling, distributing to pass, and distributing to shoot.

SAQ - FUNdamentals of Fitness (5-8 year olds) - Within this fun and enjoyable program, soccer players will gain: An improved sense of their ABC’S (Agility, Balance, Coordination and Speed). Soccer skills such as passing, dribbling and shooting are worked with an extra fitness focus. Motor-skill development designed to progress future athletic performance.

SAQ - Train to Gain (9-12 year olds) - This Soccer-specific weekly workout will help players to: Improve their running form and become more energy efficient on the soccer field. Enhance the speed of their soccer technical ability with high intensity ball-based activities. Develop an understanding of soccer-specific fitness in a fun, innovative way.

SAQ - Serious Soccer (13 years and up) - For committed players who want to gain a vital physical advantage over opponents. The program includes: Improving your acceleration, speed of feet and power from a standing start. Intensifying your speed of technical play, with high tempo technical drills with a ball. An introduction into Strength Development, to prepare the body for physical soccer. 7:10pm - 7:55pm - $100

Skills (U15-U18) - The skills program enables all players to come together and dedicate time to improve their individual ball control and quality of touch. This allows players to practice, away from a team setting, where the focus is purely on the individual and the ball. This program allows players to become technically more effective with the ball.

***Refund / Credit Policy:  There will not be any refunds for either Skills or SAQ or any make-up days for any cancelled sessions.***
